During my initial introduction as the new Director of Professional Services at Magnet 360 one word kept coming to mind: Investment. Deep investment. Intellectually, emotionally, and with our entire being. I continue to see this invest isn’t just for ourselves, but we take action, we care, we ROCK for our clients.
Solving our clients’ most challenging issues and finding ways to add value to the companies we serve, inspires everyone at Magnet 360. This client passion gives our teams energy. That energy propels us forward to service the next problem, the next client and the next lead. It is an awesome, cyclical process that actually keeps Magnet 360 continuously evolving.
The reason is clear: We hire, promote, act, live, breathe, swim in… our core values. The proof, the evidence is everywhere:
Client trust earned everyday – A 9.0 client satisfaction rating (on a 10 point scale) just about says it all. By definition, this means our clients would recommend us to others without being asked. This cannot be accomplished without trust through action and results. We deliver on our word. Period.
Constant evolution: The fastest of “Fast 50” in Minnesota is perhaps the strongest indication of our ability to evolve. Equally strong evidence is the fact that we are driving Agile delivery approaches into every engagement with our clients. This recognizes that our clients’ needs evolve through the project process, and that Magnet 360 evolves with them on their behalf, for their betterment.
Responding with a sense of urgency: We have an internal nomination process on our salesforce.com Chatter tool (which is amazing BTW, see Collaboration below). It looks like ~90% of our internal nominations are tied to this value. We jump and we jump high, for our clients and our teammates.
Collaboration: I’ve been a few places, had a few jobs, and I’ve seen a few things in my time. Magnet 360 is the first place I’ve been where the bridge between business development (sales) and delivery is one I can actually walk across without risk of injury. In less than 8 weeks I’ve been in no less than 40 meetings where sales and delivery leadership are working together to shape meaningful strategies, tactics and solutions for our clients. Tools don’t make or break anything, people do. That said, the use of technology, specifically Chatter, enables this collaboration with ease, through transparent communication.
Shared Ownership: Everyone here acts like this is our company because, well, it is. We have a stake and earn more through great work. Magnet 360’s managing partners help each employee think like an invested leader of the company.
Rockin: Passion, positive energy, and harmony. This value is much harder to point to statistical evidence. The simple term could easily be all marketing and image with no substance, but not at Magnet 360. We’ve been rated time and again as an amazing place to work, but more important than any award, our employees can feel our Rockin culture.
I am excited to be a part of this band, and with Magnetic people who take it to the next level. Together: heads, hearts, and hands all-in. With and for our clients.
