Magnet 360 has already seen major growth in 2016 with the acquisition by Mindtree, but we’re not stopping there. As always, our team is growing in ways that expand our capabilities and reach to benefit our customers and partners. One example is the recent addition of Andrea Pohlman, Senior Director of Organizational Transformation Services, to our roster of rockstars. Andrea has an established career as a global leader in Organizational Transformation and is the keystone in Magnet 360’s ability to provide clients with the tools and techniques needed to solve their business problems and realize their strategic visions across varied industries, including Financial Services & Insurance, Healthcare, High-Tech, and Retail. Learn a little more about Andrea and what she brings to Magnet 360:
Q: Tell us a little about your background and why you’re excited to bring your expertise to Magnet 360.
Andrea: I’ve spent the majority of my career working as an employee Fortune 50 Financial Services organizations helping to transform their operations—from sales, marketing and finance to mailrooms, underwriting and contracts…and everything in-between—using proven methodologies / techniques in Process Engineering, Customer Journey, Business Architecture, Organizational Design and Organizational Change Management. About 8 years ago, I left Corporate America to join a terrific Boston-based consulting firm called Accelare, where I was Regional Vice President and Managing Consultant, leading the Organizational Transformation practice and was responsible for selling, delivering and leading an outstanding team of consultants. I have enjoyed becoming the consultant that I always wished that I could have hired—that trusted advisor who delivered on their promises and provided the expertise to make my organization’s strategy a reality, while building a thriving practice at Accelare. I’m excited to be a part of Magnet 360 to build out a suite of services that complements our current offerings and expands our footprint in the Management Consulting arena through the introduction of an Organizational Transformation Services practices.
Q: What’s the most challenging part about being the Senior Director of Organizational Transformation Services?
Andrea: Explaining what it is that Organizational Transformation Services is and does here at Magnet 360! That same challenge is also what is so exciting about being here. It’s been fantastic working with the team–from sales to delivery to marketing–to shape an end-to-end view of the services we provide that speaks to our client’s needs to deliver THEIR promise to THEIR customer through not only technology, but people and processes that work with and outside of any given tool. And, of course, how Magnet 360 is the partner of choice in delivering those promises.
Q: Describe an “experience of a lifetime” that you have had.
Andrea: Oh boy, I guess I’m lucky to have many experiences to choose from. I’d have to say that hanging out with the Barbary Macaques on Gibraltar was one of my favorites!
Q: What is the most exciting part about the opportunity to work with at the Magnet 360 headquarters in Minneapolis?
Andrea: So many things, but the opportunity to build out this set of offerings and help grow Magnet 360’s business in new ways is extremely exciting. Not to mention the joy of coming off the road after traveling 7 1/2 years at my former job—leaving Monday mornings and coming home Thursday nights—and reconnecting with my family and friends in a meaningful way. Building new relationships with my Magnet 360 colleagues is wonderful as well!
