ROTQ: Nathan Anderson & Pranay Mistry
By Maddie Whitmore June 23, 2017
Magnet 360’s Rockstar of the Quarter award is given to an employee who truly exemplifies the company’s shared core values. Nominated by peers and clients, this Rockstar receives a coveted Magnet 360 gold record and is treated to dinner and a concert of their choice.
This quarter, we couldn’t just pick one and have deemed TWO Magnet 360 employees as Rockstar(s) of the Quarter. Congratulations to functional architect Nathan Anderson and technical architect Pranay Mistry! Get to know more about these Rockin employees:
Magnet 360: How long have you worked for Magnet 360?
Nathan: About three years overall. I am coming up on one year as a full-time employee, I was a contractor for two years.
Pranay: Ten months.
Magnet 360: What has been your most memorable moment at Magnet 360?
Nathan: We were approaching the end of a big project, and needed to gather the team all in one room to work through a long list of remaining items. The teamwork and collaboration was incredible to watch. It was a huge effort and so inspiring.
Pranay: Getting a personal call from our VP of Delivery asking about my well-being after I was working crazy 80-hour weeks for eight weeks straight on an important project. It shows how much the leadership cares about us.
Magnet 360: What excites you most about your career at Magnet 360?
Nathan: I’m excited for the unknown. The company is growing so fast, and evolving every day. There will be so many exciting opportunities in the next few years, and I can’t wait to see where things go for me and for Magnet 360.
Pranay: The people, the collaboration, the culture, and most importantly, the leadership.
Magnet 360: What characteristic do you value the most about the people you work with every day?
Nathan: The desire to deliver high-quality and impactful solutions. Just my opinion, but not all consultants care about this as much as the people I have had the pleasure of working with here.
Pranay: Hard work, dedication, and the commitment to our clients.
Magnet 360: If you could take the whole company out to participate in an activity, what would it be?
Nathan: Being from Chicago, one of the most fun things to do in the summer (no matter how touristy it sounds) is one of the architectural boat tours of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. It makes for a great day of relaxing on the water, taking in the sights, and shutting down the laptops for a while.
Pranay: I know every employee is allotted paid volunteer time off, but I would love for our entire company to devote an entire day to giving back to the community. I love kids, so if I were to take the whole company out, it would be to volunteer either at a kindergarten or an elementary school.
