ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Position Overview

The Account Director works as a member of the sales team and is responsible for achieving pipeline and sales goals, while also acting as a strategic leader accountable for driving successful customer outcomes. The Account Director is expected to develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts, as well as to work with their regional sales leader to respond to incoming leads. This role is expected to develop clear account plans to generate long-lasting customer relationships that deliver business results. This individual has a solutions and/or technology background and feels at home in sales role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets and grow assigned accounts annually
  • Strategic oversight of assigned accounts ensuring engagements achieve their intended outcomes
  • Collaborate with Salesforce partners and internal teams on assigned accounts, opportunities
  • Build long-term relationships with clients
  • Manage deal cycles and deliverables (solution vision, SOWs, change orders, etc.)
  • Negotiate Statements of Work, Masters Service Agreements & Master Service compliance

Activities and skills to achieve the above responsibilities include, but are not limited t0:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience
  • Professional services sales experience preferred
  • Salesforce network and/or Salesforce certifications preferred 
  • Utilize their experience selling technology solutions in a highly consultative environment
  • Solid writer who can create and manage Statements of Work
  • Lead customer discovery meetings and participate in estimating of projects
  • Track and report on account(s) status, including elevating concerns to appropriate internal management
  • Anticipates and mitigates client risk factors
  • Agile and iterative project methodologies experience is desired
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
