POSITION OVERVIEW

The Delivery Manager is responsible for coordinating multiple work streams of the initiative to ensure on-time, on budget delivery of the overall program for all impacted functional areas to ensure our clients are able to seamlessly deliver to their customers as promised. The Delivery Manager provides visionary leadership to our clients for the overall program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Providing delivery management, oversight, and team leadership for one or more accounts.
  • Providing management support and oversight of delivery consultants.
  • Ensuring oversight of dependencies / inter-dependencies between program work streams to achievement of milestones
  • Delivering strategic, proactive guidance for key client stakeholders
  • Serving as the initial and ongoing line of sight to resource constraints and commitments
  • Working with sales team to create and implement a strategic account growth plan.
  • Conceiving innovative, high value solutions for clients in areas of technology or process improvement.
  • Providing support and devliery involment to ensure participation in estimates and proposals.
  • Establishes and maintains excellent business relationships with all key account stakeholders
  • Serving as the initial and ongoing line of sight to resource constraints and commitments
  • Identify risks and interdependencies and work to develop plausible solutions
  • Create effective process vision, direction, proposals, design, usability and controls
  • Coordinate amongst cross functional teams for project implementations
  • Consult in resource/skill and financial planning to assist in project management efforts
  • Conduct process proof of concept pilots to demonstrate the implementation and impact of new processes and ideas
  • Help develop and drive organization adoption for strategic initiatives
  • Drive key goals and metrics around productivity and growth goals as documented in investment roadmap
  • Provide continuous monitoring methods for the stability of existing and new operational processes
  • Encourage a capability and process mindset
  • Meet customer expectations for highest quality
  • Participate in process/industry consortiums as necessary.
  • Assist with the ongoing development / refinement of internal methodologies

 

ACTIVITIES AND SKILLS TO ACHIEVE THE ABOVE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Proven large Program/Delivery Management experience
  • Project Leadership certifications, which may include: Agile/Scrum and/or PMP
  • Experience in Salesforce implementations
  • Broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and appreciation for capability / process impacts up-and down-stream of process being examined
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills at all levels of the organization: written, verbal, presentations
  • The ability to act as a liaison for the business to other organizational areas, conveying needs / requirements of the business
  • Extensive experience planning and deploying either business or IT initiatives (preference for both)
  • Must be a team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a very fast paced environment, to manage multiple tasks, and work independently or as a team.
  • Ability to work with business and technical stakeholders
  • Able to integrate information from multiple sources to execute effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to provide coherent vision, strategic plans, and leadership to achieve peer/stakeholder buy-in and successful alignment with business vision
  • 7+ years of experience in leadership positions focused on achieving business results with technology
  • 7+ years of professional consulting experience
  • Management consulting or program/portfolio management expertise
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, engineering or finance
  • The ability to collaborate with Account Managers and Line of Service leaders to author and negotiate proposals, statements of work, work orders and estimates
  • A strong “personal brand,” demonstrating a high level of credibility
  • Long standing, “trusted advisor” relationships both internally and externally in the marketplace
  • A successful track record of leading successful pursuits of large consulting projects including IT projects
