Position Overview:

The Enterprise TA guides and oversees multiple concurrent projects across a client’s enterprise program. They serve as gatekeepers for maintaining high level of quality across the teams and ensure that the client’s long-term goals are supported by robust, scalable technical solutions. Enterprise TAs play a key role on enterprise architecture review boards both internally and for our clients.

  • LMA: Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable direct reports and team members across a client’s multiple projects
  • Manage multiple work streams, potentially with independent development teams
  • Rollout scalable CI/CD solutions across an enterprise
  • Drive requirements gathering sessions with the client’s technical team and architecture boards, discuss functional requirements with the internal and client teams
  • Evaluate multiple feasible options for a solution and provide optimal solution recommendations
  • Proficiency in the following technical artifacts (for current and future states): Data Model / ERD, System Landscape, Integration Orchestration Design / Process Flows, Sequence Diagrams, etc
  • Promote enterprise-grade best practices relevant to the program (Salesforce, SDLC, integration, etc) and ensure that project leads are adhering to them
  • Understand best practices for systems outside of Salesforce (e.g. SAP, Azure, SQL Server, etc) and how to integrate between these systems effectively
  • Responsible for the overall technical architecture and corresponding deliverables through a program’s lifecycle
  • Provide thought leadership in technical areas of expertise to promote best of breed culture in Technical Services
  • Provide consultative services to all levels of business and technical people at leading enterprise customers to enable them to make confident decisions for their company
  • Guide the development team in the appropriate use of technology
  • Strong understanding of, and experience working in, Agile/Scrum teams
  • A strong understanding of Salesforce platform technologies

Activities and skills to achieve the above responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee technical architecture design and implementation across multiple workstreams
  • Mentor technical leaders so they understand how to break agile stories into realistically achievable tasks and delegate work to the development team, as appropriate to their respective skills
  • Work with clients to understand their requirements and design solutions that serve their long-term needs
  • Help define the technical landscape for clients’ future growth and evolution
  • Experience in object-oriented design patterns and data modeling
  • Strong understanding of on-premise and cloud architectural design patterns
  • Conduct business and technical correspondence that is professional, thoughtful, effective, and concise
  • Ability to “think on your feet” and learn new things quickly
  • Appetite for knowledge in the Salesforce space and other relevant technologies
  • Flexibility to travel to client locations when needed
