POSITION OVERVIEW

The Functional Lead, DMP must be self-driven and have a passion for marketing and technology. This person is responsible for building expertise around the Salesforce DMP platform – strategizing, implementing and providing best practices for our clients. The Functional Lead, DMP must be able to lead DMP focused projects and collaborate with teams on larger projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand digital advertising and the digital transformation landscape
  • Bring strategic and tactical Marketing perspectives around all work-streams including: offline data onboarding, big data segmentation, DMP management, audience syndication, analytics and display media campaigns to Magnet360 clients
  • Strong competencies surrounding tag management solutions and analytics platforms is required
  • Understand customer data and how data can affect digital marketing objectives
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Salesforce DMP strategic planning and best practices
  • Participate in team collaboration to understand project requirements and translate those requirements into clear and comprehensive user stories
  • Provide senior-level consulting on Salesforce DMP and integrated cross-channel tools including Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Participate in client discussions, marketing discovery and marketing projects, tool implementations and trainings
  • Help to ensure project(s) achieve their intended marketing results. Bring forward recommendations on projects to achieve even greater results
  • Create deliverables that meet client needs and present deliverables to clients
  • Maintain a billable utilization percentage of 90% or above

ACTIVITIES AND SKILLS TO ACHIEVE THE ABOVE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • 5+ years’ experience working with consumer data, segmentation and executing media plans, experience working in a media agency or strong digital advertiser preferred
  • Strong competencies surrounding tag management solutions and analytics platforms is required
  • Hands-on experience with technology platforms such as Salesforce DMP (formerly Krux) LiveRamp and DoubleClick
  • Comprehension, appreciation and understand of the various parts that make up a customer journey and how to influence the customer across owned and paid media touchpoints is required
  • Professional Services consulting with emphasis on marketing and business processes, data management, organizational change management, training and user adoption
  • Ensure deliverables meet internal requirements as well as client expectations
  • Demonstrate understanding of how various issues effect the overall outcome of projects
  • Manage and maintain a collaborative working relationship with internal team while consistently deliver high-quality services to clients
  • Consistently deliver high-quality services
  • Help to ensure projects achieve their intended results. Bring forward recommendations on projects to achieve even greater results
  • Prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, especially prioritization and management of flexible scope
  • College degree preferred
  • Ability to travel required (estimated 25%)
