Functional Architect, Managed Services (Marketing/Sales/Service Clouds)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Functional Architect for Managed Services is responsible for strategic marketing consulting, configuration of marketing automation technologies, and creation and presentation of deliverables for clients.  This may include current-state audits and analysis, marketing strategy, best practices, visioning and recommendations for marketing programs, and implementation of marketing automation technology. In addition, this Architect will work within the Sales and Service Clouds to enhance client needs.

As part of the Managed Services Group, the Functional Architect is responsible for business process consulting and delivering quality service and solutions to clients by understanding client needs and implementing a solution that provides successful results and outcomes for the client, within the agreed upon Service Level Agreement (SLA). This position acts as a liaison between technical and non-technical staff to ensure the solution meets the client’s business needs and completed to Magnet360’s highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Professional Services consulting with emphasis on business processes, organizational change management, training and user adoption in Marketing, Sales, and Service Clouds.
  • Consulting and implementation of marketing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (email, SMS, social, web, advertising, analytics, etc.) and Pardot
  • Bring strategic and tactical Marketing perspectives to Magnet360 clients
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Marketing strategic planning and best practices
  • Understand the intended audiences for the solution, purpose of engaging these audiences, and validate against objectives and success metrics
  • Provide future-looking solutions and recommendations based on forthcoming Salesforce releases
  • Consult on intricacies of Sales and Marketing alignment
  • Manage and maintain a collaborative working relationship with clients and consistently deliver high-quality services
  • Understand intricacies of customer data and how data can affect digital marketing objectives
  • Possess ability to lead client discussions, facilitate marketing discovery and marketing projects when called upon
  • Lead marketing tool migrations, implementations, trainings, and managed services.
  • Help to ensure project(s) achieve their intended marketing results. Bring forward recommendations on projects to achieve even greater results
  • Create deliverables that meet client needs and present deliverables to clients
  • Improvement to and maintenance of Marketing Consulting Services processes and templates

ACTIVITIES AND SKILLS TO ACHIEVE THE ABOVE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • 5+ years of Salesforce platform experience
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certified
  • Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud certification preferred
  • Participate in Magnet360’s thought leadership on Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Knowledge of other Salesforce Clouds is highly desired
  • Drive soft-sales (up-selling opportunities) or articulate these opportunities to the appropriate channels
  • Professional Services consulting with emphasis on marketing and business processes, organizational change management, training and user adoption.
  • Accountable for certain project deliverables and documents
  • Ensure deliverables meet internal requirements
  • Demonstrate understanding of how various issues effect the overall outcome of projects
  • Manage and maintain a collaborative working relationship with internal team while consistently deliver high-quality services to clients
  • Help to ensure projects achieve their intended results. Bring forward recommendations on projects to achieve even greater results
  • Collaborate with other Magnet360 staff and leadership to lead projects by tracking, guiding and reporting project statuses to client and internal delivery and management teams
  • Consistently create client deliverables that are professional and concise, utilizing top trends
  • Stay up to date on technology and marketing thought leadership
  • Prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Participate in project closure and “lessons learned” debrief process
  • College degree preferred
  • Ability to travel required (estimated 10-25%)
  • Other activities as assigned
