POSITION OVERVIEW

The Solution Architect is a strategic role that crosses sales, marketing and delivery for Magnet360 that sits in the Core Center of Excellence (COE). It requires a highly collaborative individual with a strong ability to influence and guide prospects, clients, sales teams and delivery teams. This role is both an in-market role for Chicago, New York, Los Angeles or Minneapolis and national role for Magnet360.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide consultative sales expertise on Salesforce, the competitive market, and business/technical landscape for the purpose of sales influence and enablement in partnership with the Magnet360 Sales team. Activities to include:
    • Prospect and client sales assist calls, site visits
    • Consultative client-focused sales solution design
    • Build effective, accurate solution ballparks, estimates and project resource plans
    • Provide consultative expertise on how the Salesforce platform can be leveraged to support business processes
  • Salesforce partner business development and marketing support in partnership with the local sales team and national Marketing team. Activities to include:
    • Provide deep Salesforce, enterprise architecture, and related ecosystem (i.e. app exchange apps, related 3rd party tools) thought leadership
    • Drive alignment to Salesforce Product teams to both receive and provide guidance and platform thought leadership within the ecosystem
    • Partner with Salesforce product roadmap across Core COE clouds
    • Represent Magnet360 for cloud-related Salesforce partner meetings and events
    • Drive new ecosystem relationships and opportunities
    • Write relevant reusable content including blogs, capabilities content and customer stories
  • Collaborate to ensure successful solution delivery post-sale. Activities to include:
    • Provide Solution Architecture and delivery leadership on projects to ensure that solution vision from the sales cycle continues through successful delivery
    • Hit billable utilization target in the process of ensuring successful delivery to clients
    • Sustain client relationships developed in the sales cycle through the delivery lifecycle
    • Provide Magnet 360 delivery team guidance and coaching as needed to help mentor team members
    • Participate in “culture of learning” by providing learning experiences (lunch and learns, etc.) to the broader consulting delivery team
    • Support Professional Development Manager in developing consulting talent organizationally

ACTIVITIES AND SKILLS TO ACHIEVE THE ABOVE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Minimum 4 years Salesforce experience, multi-cloud experience a plus
  • Minimum 10 years business and business technology experience
  • Complex enterprise technology implementation experience
  • College degree required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel 20-50% preferred
  • Consulting experience preferred
  • Salesforce certifications preferred
