Position Overview:

At Magnet360, developers are called upon to deliver best-in-class solutions in and surrounding the Salesforce platform. Salesforce Technical Leads craft both backend and frontend solutions, using development best practices to deliver the best possible solutions and services to meet client needs.  As part of the development group that serves client, a Technical Lead will participate in sharing development knowledge across all members as well as working together on large enterprise engagements.

In addition, this position will have a passion for and experience with eCommerce; specifically, the powerful Salesforce B2C and B2B Commerce Platforms and related technologies.

  • Provide thought leadership in Salesforce B2C & B2B Commerce (Commerce Cloud/Demandware & CloudCraze) to promote best of breed culture and capabilities in Technical Services
  • Establish and lead a program to drive consistent use of a Magnet360 framework within customer initiatives and partnership
  • Participate in providing solutions for client engagements
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Collaborate with global team members to enable task completion
  • Design, code, test, document, and deploy solutions
  • Follow and contribute to technical processes, coding standards, and guidelines
  • Participate in the enhancement of technical practices
  • Manage tasks across concurrent projects with professional status reporting, escalation, process adherence
  • Create prototypes for client engagements
  • Design, code, and test technical solutions
  • Understand the necessity of and contribute to coding standards
  • Demonstrate proficiency in one or more programming language-“back-end” or server-side languages
  • Identify and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Complete assignments within appropriate timeline and budget
  • Communicate project status to management
  • Elevate project concerns to appropriate internal project sponsors

Activities and skills to achieve the above responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce (Commerce Cloud/ Demandware) required
  • Experience with B2B Commerce (CloudCraze) preferred
  • Understand technical and functional design requirements
  • Demonstrate the ability to cooperate with a variety of people and achieve results
  • Anticipate client needs before they arise and present possible solutions or recommendations
  • Ability to mentor junior technical team members and contribute to the team’s standards of development
  • Desire to work on a variety of projects with unique requirements
  • Personal passion for development and learning
  • Experience converting designs and wireframes to responsive interfaces using modern web technologies (CSS3, HTML5, javascript) Required
  • Experience across development and cloud based technologies including object-oriented languages, and the Salesforce technology stack (Apex, Visualforce, SOQL) Required
  • Experience developing using modern javascript front-end frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS, jQuery, Bootstrap, Salesforce Lightning Design System, Ionic, etc.) Required
  • Experience with Heroku and node.js preferred
  • Other activities as assigned
